Karazhan is the first 10-person raid instance in The Burning Crusade Classic, accessible at launch. Players who wield Medivh's staff, Atiesh, Greatstaff of the Guardian, can teleport players to the front gate of Karazhan using Portal: Karazhan.

Karazhan hosts 12 boss encounters, Tier 4 glove and helm tokens, a new rare mount Fiery Warhorse's Reins, iconic new encounters such as The Opera and Chess Events, incredible original music, and an overall spooky, haunted house type ambiance.
