It is used to upgrade your legendary items to Rank 7(Item Level 291), to convert Pieces of Season 3 Gear to Progenitor tier set pieces at the Creation Catalyst, as well as buy new Coventant legendary powers Memory of Unity.

The use of Cosmic Flux is so wide that it will require a huge amount of it to obtain the actual gear and power of your character. In addition to the activities of the whole new Zereth Mortis location, the most end-game activities in the game will also be aimed at mining this currency. Therefore, it will be possible to farm it not only in the new zone, but also in mythic + dungeons, Torghast Tower, Rated Arena etc.
